Holiday Windows 2008 finds homes for 307 pets!

The San Francisco SPCA 2008 Holiday Windows placed an astounding 307 kittens and cats, puppies and dogs in new homes around the Bay Area and raised more than $55,000 in donations to aid the SF/SPCA in its future outreach efforts. Despite the tough economic times, the event, which ran from November 21, 2008 through January 1, 2009 at Macy's in Union Square, well surpassed 2007's record of 277 animals adopted and $35,000 in donations.

This marks the 22nd season that The SF/SPCA has showcased homeless dogs and cats in downtown San Francisco and the fifth year in a row that the event has been held at Macy's. Hundreds of volunteers gave their time to help create the magical backdrop for the animals and care for them throughout the event.
Thanks to all of you who made a difference by opening your wallets and your homes to help these animals in need.
